Sale from 50 to 500 coins, use from 2 to 20 coins. A free track earns no coins but spreads your name.
A track sold for 100 coins
60 coins for you, about 24 FCFA
Used in a video at 10 coins
6 coins for you, every time it is used
Free track
No coins, but your name travels in other people's videos
Worked examples: 25 coins are worth 10 FCFA. Prices are set by the artist (sale from 50 to 500 coins, use from 2 to 20 coins).

Protection
Artists' music stays the artists'
The original file stays private: the public only hears a 30-second preview.
A file that was already uploaded is refused; a very close track is flagged to the team.
A paid track is never downloadable as a loose file.
Any track can be reported: after three reports it is suspended until the team reviews it.
Artists can delete their track at any time, with a strict confirmation.

FAQ
Music questions
Is listening free?
Previews and free tracks are free to listen to. Paid tracks are bought with coins. You can also listen to a paid track in full, once, after a short ad.
Can I download the music?
You can download a track inside Afrolook to listen offline, but not as a file: it stays encrypted in the app, like on YouTube.
How are artists paid?
The artist receives 60% of the price on every sale and every use in a video. Earned coins convert and withdraw like other earnings.
Why don't I see every track?
Each artist chooses the countries where a track is offered: 1 country on a free account, up to 20 with Premium, all with Gold.
Which music can I use safely?
Afrolook's 17 free tracks were created for the app, with no copyright. For an artist's track, use is included in the displayed price.
Do Gold accounts see ads?
No: Gold accounts see no ads. A paid track stays paid, and the artist is always paid.
